CoolEdit Nostalgia 7.2

Once upon a time CoolEdit had an amazing spectral analyzer with separate channel visualization, linear and logarithmic frequency scales and adjustable spectrum sizes. This concept from the past was reimagined as a plugin for the contemporary audio players.
The following features are available:
- single, dual and multichannel visualization
- frequncy range grid
- volume scale in decibels
- adjustable visualization time window and frame rate
- adjustable visualization filtering
- adjustable colors and styles
- minimum, maximum, hold and average signal statistics
- automatic settings saving and saving as themes
- uses two optional rendering engines (GDI or Direct2D)
- freely resizable view
- different transformation algorithms - IIR filter bank, custom & automatic FFT
- additional tools - spectrogram printer, live waveform, peak meter, level histogram, phase meter and phase histogram
- spectrum hold, replay, marking and measurement features
- MusicBee, AIMP and foobar2000 players support

Version History:

7.2
- initial version supporting 32bit version of AIMP v5.40 or higher

AIMP specifics:
- dsp samples source runs always at 44100hz, 16bit, 2channels regardless of file's audio quality
- no replaygain and skin colors integration unlike the musicbee version
- inbuilt temporal calibration for all output device types

Additional Notes:

Note1: To install use the installer, or extract its files manually to the "Plugins" folder:
<AIMP>\Plugins\aimp_nostalgia\aimp_nostalgia.dll (must copy - launches the CEN plugin under AIMP)
<AIMP>\Plugins\aimp_nostalgia\NostalgiaD2D.dll (optional - enables Direct2D rendering)

<AIMP>\Plugins\dsp_nostalgia\dsp_nostalgia.dll (must copy - audio samples source)

*** If the plugin crashes when starting, try installing the Microsoft VC++ Redistributable x86 (https://aka.ms/vc14/vc_redist.x86.exe) ***

Note2: To remove the plugin remove the above mentioned dlls, and optionally the setting file + themes folder:
<AIMP>\Profile\CoolEdit Nostalgia.ini
<AIMP>\Profile\CoolEdit Nostalgia Themes\

The installer does not touch these configuration files.

Note3: Cool Edit is a trademark of Syntrillium/Adobe and is used here just to note the idea of the plugin. I'm not the owner of this trademark, nor I pretend to be, when using the word CoolEdit.

Note4: The used open source libraries/projects are listed in the license page during installation.
